FAQ

How many people can participate in the Juggling Workshop?

The size of the groups varies considerably. For the Dutch Army, Juggling Workshop.eu organised workshops for over 650 people. Team-building sessions and kick-offs tend to have smaller groups and JugglingWorkshop.eu regularly receives bookings for just 10 participants.

How long does a workshop take?

A standard juggling workshop will take one hour. Depending on your schedule and the extent to which you would like to foster team-building, programs between 30 and 90 minutes can also be facilitated.

What difference is there between the shorter and longer programs? Do you give a longer talk or demonstration?
Juggling is a great metaphor for a wide variety of topics that are important in an organisation. The half-hour option of the workshop, for example, is a more condensed version. Niels’ demonstration will be shorter, but the participants will still experience the benefits of learning to juggle and have the basic information to build on after the workshop.

How high must the ceiling be for the Juggling Workshop?
The ceiling of a standard office or hotel conference room will be fine. Juggling balls are soft and are safe to use for the participants and the environment.

How much space is needed? Does the group need to stack tables and chairs, for example?
Learning to juggle is a fun activity and not much space is needed. If there is enough room for every participant to stand and spread his or her arms without hitting a colleague, we’re good to go.

Who provides the equipment?
This workshop is self-contained. Niels Duinker will provide all the necessary equipment, so you have nothing to worry about.

Can we keep the balls?
There are two options depending on your budget and needs. Niels has a set of professional juggling balls for the participants to borrow and use (lend-set). If you prefer to let your group keep the juggling balls to continue experiencing the benefits of juggling after the workshop is over, that’s also possible through a buy-set.

Is it possible to have the balls customised with the client’s logo?
Absolutely. Please talk to JugglingWorkshop.eu about the different options and prices.

Is there a program for disabled groups?
There are a lot of different aspects to juggling and people with disabilities will also have fun learning. Niels has taught people in wheel chairs how to juggle three balls, and there are various exercises and tricks which don’t involve the whole body.
